Go COLTS

Got the dinghy out and ready to go today.  Light wind, so we motored out into the bay and did some fishing.  Only caught a couple of Spanish Mackerel (no holes)
Here's a look at our marina from Florida Bay.  For those of you in Indiana, that blue stuff at the top of the photo is sky.

We were exploring the nearby mangroves, and found a tunnel of luv.  Unlike the one up in Charlotte Harbor, this one was a dead end.

Later in the day, we rode our bikes east and west a couple of miles on US 1.  There's not much of anything either way for several miles.  (But we have the truck.)  It's interesting to see Florida Bay on one side of the road, and look through an ocean-front mobile home park to the Atlantic on the other side.

It's fun just to watch the people traveling on US 1.  Lots of motorcycles, several Ferraris, and some sailboats being trailered down to Key West Race Week.  We wore our Colts shirts and hats hoping to find some Jets fans to harass, but I guess the Jets don't have any fans.  Some guy in a boat on our dock came out wearing a blue #18 Manning jersey.  He's from Plainfield.  Lisa the assistant dock master is from Evansville.  We always meet a lot of people in Florida who used to live in Indiana.  It must be a good place to leave.
