Barry and Iggy

Took the dinghy up the shoreline a few miles towards the mainland.  Except for the short trip yesterday, we hadn't used the dinghy since the St. John's river last Spring.    When you're unsure of your motor, always go upwind first.  Learned that a long time ago from my Cousin from Miami.  No problems today though.

Last winter, we saw lots of iguanas on Marathon.  The ones we saw here today were much brighter green than the Marathonians.

I stopped near some mangroves to fish, and caught several nasty fish.  Barracudas.  Check out their teeth.

We've met a lot of nice people who own boats like ours.  I gave some thought to that situation, and considered that you might be required to be a nice person to own a Rosborough.  But of course that theory doesn't hold water.  I own one.
We heard from our pals Frank and Pat (GREY GOOSE from Pennsylvania) that they will be unable to join us this year.  However, they will be in Venice, FL, when we're driving back NOrth, so we might stop there to say hi.
We're hoping Phil and Cathie from Wisconsin will get here with their Rosborough,  BUDDY.  We met them in Marathon last year.  They were on their sailboat then, but they went back home, sold the sailboat, and have now joined us on the "dark side."  And I guess we need to thank Steve and Jan on JESSIE M for letting us know about this marina.  We haven't heard what their winter plans might be.  They may have stayed too long in Canada, and can't get out til the spring thaw  Eh?
