Annapolis

We spent a pleasant night anchored in the Rhode River. 

The bay was much nicer on a weekday.  I think we'll find a place to stay holed up out of the way next weekend. 

We decided to go back into Annapolis to see if it too was less crowed on a weekday.  Passed Thomas Shoal lighthouse on the way.

The city docks are down "Ego Alley".  It's a narrow channel lined with restaurants and lots of people.  So the large yachts go up ego alley to show themselves off.  Some are so large that they can't turn around at the end, and need to back all the way out.  (We didn't have any trouble turning around.)

The City Dock is right in the heart of the activity in Annapolis.  Not too expensive, and a great place to stop.
