Rock and Roll

Wednesday July 8
Well, they finally put me in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I knew it would happen someday. So today, I drove to Cleveland, I stood in line for a little while, paid $22.00 dollars at the door, and they put me right inside the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Right there with Buddy Holly, Elvis, and all the others. They put Pam in too when she gave them her $22.00. We were there about 4 hours, and could spend another 4 looking at stuff. They already had a tribute display set up for MJ. Actually, there was a ton of other Michael Jackson stuff on display in it's usual place. They had a car that the real king bought back in the 70's with "EP" on the doors and seats. Great place.
The reason we were in Cleveland is that Pam had a few days off from babysitting, so we were planning an adventure somewhere--but we weren't sure where. This is the time of year to go NOrth. We thought about somewhere on the Great Lakes--maybe Lake Michigan. But, it just so happened that some Rosborough owners planned a rendezvous on Lake Champlain the exact time we were going "somewhere." So we thought it might be fun to meet some folks with the same boat as ours, and see how they've modified their boats etc. The rendezvous starts Friday, but we thought we could either sit home on the couch or get there a day early. And see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Funny, it seemed there was a lot of old people walking around in there.
We're staying on the boat tonight in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Fredonia, NY. We'll see how that works out. There's two other coaches and a couple of semi's here also. We're the only boat camper.
